Took me two weeks to complete. I bought about 30 8 foot planks to act as the top layer of wood where I painted the map on. I made four wooden square frames in the back for support. Stained all the wood to make it look aged, put it all together. Then I printed out a stencil of the map of the world, taped it together, cut it out and foe painted the map on with one layer of white paint and then one layer of ivory to continue the aged looking theme. Added mounting brackets and wall brackets to the back and here is the result!
It's about 5 and a half feet wide and four feet tall.
My favorite part is how you shaped all the continents as well as the smaller countries so accurately and well detailed and how even though they're in four separate pieces it really feels like one whole piece. The fact that you did it on such a large scale makes it even more impressive.
I also really liked the aged theme you kept. It really helps ties it all together.
This is so wicked.

Needless to say, a proud piece!
You do well with wood mediums. Amazing job!
